What I always wonder about is the final destination of so much of this money. Drug lords are killed on a regular basis, often with no organisation left to take up the reins. Many of the despotic leaders are so paranoid that only they know their numbered account details, and they are often "dispatched" with no chance to recover the funds. Presumably the same applies to mercenaries, arms dealers, spies, conmen, and mafia dons all over the world all the time. There must be untold squillions sitting in bank accounts where the account holder is deceased and no-one else knows about the money or how to get it. Where does it go?
