Like a certain other US Brineller known to be incapable of admitting he is wrong, now Arnett has also decided to take the matter off-list and continue his threats there. Even though my Legal Notice allows me to reply on-list to his off-list messages, I am not going to do that -- not because it would be wrong (it wouldn't be), but because I don't want to give him any excuse to again abuse his list-admin powers to silence someone he or one of his friends disagrees with -- although I am sure he will happily go out of his way in order to find such an "excuse".

(He has abused his powers before to silence me, there is no doubt in my mind that he'll happily do it again if it suits his needs or the needs of those who share his views.)

The quoted parts below therefore come from an ON-LIST message.
