I will agree with you Jeroen, if you

(1) Offer to pay to have the list hosted on a commercial ISP

(2) Give up all control over the list after paying for it

Now, realistically, I don't expect you to do that. But I think that no
one on Brin-L wants you to have any control over the list. But I also
don't see anyone else suggesting the list be moved. So, who would pay
the fees?

I do not accept any "automatic" disclaimers such as this on general
principle. I only make legal agreements when I indicate definitely that
I accept the agreement, for example, by signing my name or by typing
my name on a line indicating my agreement. Replying to a message (or
opening an envelope, etc.) does NOT indicate my agreement in any way.
