This morning the local news is reporting that a section of the shuttle "the
size of a small car" is submerged near the dam at Toledo Bend (a large man
made lake/reservoir ) on the Texas/Louisiana border.
This is more like what I would have expected to be found.

I was watching the MSNBC summary this morning (and it's the last time I watch anything on TV regarding the incident until the news this evening).
What surprises me even more is the ever-growing reports of alleged human remains that are appearing. Everything from hair, a human torso, a leg.. I am intrigued that these parts of human anatomy could survive not only the type of explosion that may have been involved here, but also the heights from which they fell.
