Watching one of the news feeds today, there was mention that Columbia's mission included "observations" regarding "the effects of high temperatures on the Middle East deserts". Middle East..From: "Nick Arnett" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: RE: Three Scenarios of what happened to Columbia Date: Sun, 2 Feb 2003 13:55:51 -0800> Do you think that Columbia's final mission may have included a > secret agenda > related to Irak? I don't even dare to speculate. It's certainly possible, but most spy satellites are launched from Vandenburg, where it's easier to get them into a polar orbit. And it's a lot cheaper than a shuttle launch. We can see Vandenburg launches from the Bay Area, especially at night, but they never pre-announce that kind. Living close to the final approach paths into Moffett Field, we also get other indications of when something is going on... Nick
I wonder....
