The link above was not an auction as well, but simply a tirade against
"shuttle vultures."

Personally, I don't understand why he had his underwear in a knot.    Now,
while selling pieces of Columbia is not only crass, but illegal, I
definitely see nothing wrong with the selling of mission patches.

Indeed, I think that it is a great way for some people to remember the
victims.


How many sold at that price are to grandparents who are putting them away for their grandchildren when they get old enough to understand, versus those being snapped up by scalpers who hope to corner the market and sell them for an even higher price?
