By the way, I did consider that the "program" could end faster by
allowing the R's to toggle switch B either on or off (if they had
previously seen switch be change state) to send their signal. But I
thought it would be more robust to add at least some possibility of
error checking (even if it cannot catch all errors), after all, some of
these prisoners could have gone insane from this crazy game, and better
to stay in prison than get fed to the alligators.

There may be a better way to add error checking, perhaps once the
counter reaches 22 there could be some signal from X (I'll have to think
about how) to reset every R and do the whole thing one more time just to
be sure there were no mistakes.
