I meant to say, they lived in Glendale, which is about 20 minutes from
where I live by car.

More weird trivia:

I've noticed that tv shows sometimes give out fake addresses as well as
names. Joel Fleishman from Northern Exposure was supposedly from a
street address in Flushing that doesn't exist. (It would, but the
Whitestone Expressway is there.) I also used to laugh when he'd talk
about the bagel place and deli on the corner near his house. The entire
area is Asian (Chinese and Korean) now and was when the show aired. The
nearest bagel place and Jewish deli is probably about 30 blocks east of
where he supposedly lived. :)

(Yeah, I think too much....)

ST: TNG and subsequently DS9's writers had a running gag where they
would insert the number 47 into their scripts. The number would show up
as part of a Stardate or a statistic or something. The gag was
eventually passed to Voyager and showed up in a lot of episodes. I
haven't been paying attention on Enterprise. Wonder if they're still
doin' it?

The Simpsons have had a few instances where they've used the number
'24601'. Les Mis fans will recognize it.

This is fun! What else can we come up with?
Jon
