Sandwiches; they've introduced popcorn chicken recently; but their big thing
is shakes and slushes. The sandwiches aren't necessarily any better than
anyone else's (well, OK, how many fast-food places offer a grilled cheese
sandwich *period*? but the rest of the stuff is about par), but the shakes,
slushes and sundaes make them really worth visiting. Oh, and they give you
cupholder-friendly cups for the big drinks; I got a nice big drink today
that fit nicely in my cupholder because of the shape, but if I'd gotten that
size at Wendy's, I'd've been dealing with tippage problems all the rest of
the way. (Plus they'll put lime wedges or halves in your iced tea if you
ask for it, which I prefer over lemon, and not every place will even give
you *lemon*.)

Don't think we have Ponderosa, Uno's, Taco Maker or Checker's, but we have
the rest. I love Fuddruckers. Nothing like being able to pile all the
relish & pickles I want onto my burger.... (I really got that way when I
was pregnant, and that was one pregnancy behavior I didn't drop.)

I have a brother-in-law living in that area; he's outside the old loop
around the city, but they're building a new outer loop, and he's inside
that. :) He bought the house his parents raised him (and my husband) in
when his parents moved to Arizona about 7 years back. (Now that my FIL no
longer has the job he relocated for, we're hoping that maybe we can get them
to move back to Texas. Local grandparents would be nice, and there's less
than a snowball's chance of getting my mother to move.)
