This article seems like a classic example of sticking a pretty name on
Congressional Pork and ensuring that nobody will vote against it.
However, it seems absolutely absurd that we were spending $7.5 million on
child psychologists.
Indeed, as the article states:
"Under Mr. Bush's budget proposal, Impact Aid would continue for
youngsters whose parents live on a military base, but not for those whose
families live off base" and thus, pay taxes.
Yet, the only cut the author can sight, is several paragraphs regarding
child psychologists. $7.5 million dollars.
