If you put together the stuff in his obit, I don't see when he would have
been in Viet Nam.

1950s:  doing puppets on a show on WQED
1963:   ordained a minister
1963:   began "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" in Canada
1967:   "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" airs on WQED
1968:   "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" picked up by PBS

Now, unless he was in Viet Nam very early on, it didn't happen.

And I thought I remembered once a little movie of him going swimming,
dressed just in swim trunks, and he didn't have tattoos then....  This would
have been the early 1970s.
