I for one, as with my comments on the H. Beam Piper list, would insist that any continuation of a Heinlein story be technologically frozen into the year that the original story was written. As with Gilligan's Island 2001, the storyline to Fuzzies and Other People goes out the window with cell phones and GPS technology. So more Uplift or on to high school kids with home-mourn problems. I have no idea what's on the slate next. William Taylor --------------------- Clones. Golems. How about reincarnation? Piper ended a short story where selective reincarnation became fact. Sounds more like the begining to me..... _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
