Not about the book being quite good, but labeling it as "cyberpunk." Mike was just a character in the novel just like Manny and Wye. Mike was Heinlein's first incarnation of his later AIs such as Dora, Minerva, and Athena in "Time Enough For Love" and Gay Deceiver in "The Number of the Beast."
