That is called democracy, and it is not foolish. The organization should have proportional representation, with each country member having votes proportional to its population.

I can imagine it quite easily. If they wanted a vote, and influence on world politics, they would surely want to join.

And if you thnk that countries may balk at joining an organisation designed by the US, then get Canada to do it for you. Close enough for you to get what you want, and with the reputation of not being the US.

We need to put a US puppet in office that will do our bidding.... but I've said too much already.
