Can anybody provide some advice on this:
I bought a brand new computer last June.
As is my habit, I basically leave my computer turned on all the time, except when I am on travel for multiple days.

It's quite obvious, really. By leaving your computer on all the time, even when it isn't necessary to *have* it on, you are wasting energy. Now, also take into account that you are extremely religious, and the reason for your computer problem becomes clear: the demise of your computer is a punishment from your God for being wasteful with the Earth's resources. <GRIN>
