Now you know why I never click on a bare URL in a message. If there's not an excerpt or summary along with the link, I wait until I read later messages in the thread to see what other people have said and if it is worth going there myself.
Of course, if _everyone_ did that, no one would ever post comments. So, ***for all of you who post links***, a request: how about always including an excerpt or a summary of what we will find there?
