Religion is evil.
Saying that all religion is evil is about as accurate as saying that all school teachers are child molesters. While there have been a couple of well-publicized cases in the U.S. recently about teachers who have molested children, the vast, overwhelming majority of teachers never have and never would molest anyone.
Just as the vast, overwhelming majority of Muslims would never participate in a suicide attack. Just as the vast, overwhelming majority of Christians aren't evil. To say anything else is both contrary to rational truth.
Saying that all religion is evil is an illogical over-reaction to the views of fundamentalist extremists. By saying that religion is evil, you are personally calling every member of this list who is religious an evil person.
I'm not asking you to believe as I do. But please don't attack me or my beliefs. Asking me to question my beliefs is fine, even welcome. But a blanket, "religion is evil" attack is worse that useless.
