Which Heinlein book was on the moon, for some part anyway, and he set up an argument between the protagonist and a yocal about the cost of air? I agreed 100% with what Heinlein wrote, but maybe I should take a second look. While I'm not against profit and capitalism, there are some things that should be hands off. But if I come up with a list, someone else will say "What about this item?"
I know United Water of PA has done horrific things. They do build new water plants everywhere they go, but charge high rates also. And when the plant is finished, they keep the rates high and say "Your prices help pay for this other town's new plant, just like they helped pay for yours." On the other side, you can't expect each little town to have a full time crew for the water system, and only pay them a pittance to keep your rates low.
Damn I could type all day, but I have to go to work.
