Actually, when the first sonogram in Sammy's pregnancy was done, sure, I
was the one lying on the table with the wand going over me, but Dan was
looking over the shoulder of the sonogram interpreter, asking questions,
and describing stuff to me. It was a much more fulfilling experience than
it would have been if I'd been alone. So, while Dan didn't have to do the
"full bladder" thing and put up with the cool gel and the
sometimes-ticklyness of it, he was a pretty important participant in *my*
experience.
Of course, I can't speak for Melissa. :)
