I thought 8 was funnier. Something having to do with living in a beef
culture made 9 not as amusing to me as it might have been. (I'm already
bombarded by ads encouraging *women* to eat beef, and my beef consumption
went up during my last pregnancy and didn't start abating until Sammy was
getting less of his nutrition out of my mammary glands.)
