Well, at least the Red Sox won the Series since 1911....  ;)

The alternatives on the baseball front, realistically, are the Rangers and
the Astros.  I became an AL snob at some point, so my becoming an Astros
fan isn't all that likely, and the Rangers have this habit of crashing
after the All-Star break, so I don't know how much of an improvement over
the Red Sox that would be.  (But at least I get to see more games when I'm
following the Rangers....)
