I'm single.  If I had children, obviously I couldn't
keep a loaded weapon in reach.  So far, the cats
haven't figured out how to pull a trigger...  ;)
Boyfriends knew to *call* and wake me if they were
coming over, and that 'pretending' to be an intruder
was *not* an option.
