Bullshit-o-meter is off the scale allready. The UK is NOT small. It 
has over what..55 million people and a FAR higher population density 
than the US. 

Also, a LOT of the recent trend in gun crime is directly 
attributeable to HOW the government really, really screwed up after 
Dunblain banning all handguns in the way they did, making guns so 
mich more poular for serious criminals purely for reputation, frex...
