This way actually confuses me. I am not much of a linear thinker, And so have
no predjudices for what motivates bottom posting. To me it's a matter of
"what differnce does it really make to the reader?", Although I do try to do
as Romans when in Rome, and will continue to do so :)
My rational is that when reading a post I typically remember everything up to
that point so scrolling down is just a hassle. Then you snip, but when you do
you can loose who said what were and it gets very confusing. If you spell
check ( an dthat is 90% of the time spent on the post) then having everything
you are saying at the top avoids the extra few minutes of being forced to
spell check everyone elses stuff. The mail reader I use makes it very
difficult to do anything but top-post. But I have tweaked it as you can see.
