HIPA is going to make the practice of medicine much more difficult and more expensive. All of those forms patients are being required to sign are forced on all of us by the government. We have no choice. for the past two years medical organizations have been struggling to figure out how to comply with this legislation. You cannot imagine the amount of time energy and money spent on this stuff.
