IMHO: This would be a disaster for european bloggers and web site, brought under the guise of human rights and "protecting" media freedom:

Wow (for me), three local references in one article.
U.S. District Judge Stewart Dalzell is vilified in south central PA for two decisions. (Well, it depends on which side you are on. No bias here!) He overturned a murder conviction of a young woman who stabbed a rival to death, in the girl's bedroom. He said the woman was actually innocent, citing prosecution misconduct. They only had the women's bloody clothes, threats and harassment, three witnesses (two accomplices who testified against her), the murder weapon at the scene with finger prints. His ruling was then overturned, the woman sent back to prison, but only because her lawyers didn't follow appeal procedure. (I think they also made comments that basically Dazell's ruling was wrong, but it was easier to say the rules weren't followed).
Last year, or the year before, he ordered a courthouse to remove a plaque of the ten commandments.....that had been on the building for 86 years. <satire> of course that's a clear violation of the separation of church and state. Why, a custodial worker might spend ten cents on a cleaning spray and wipe the plaque off once a month</satire> It wasn't in a courtroom, it wasn't lit up with lights, you had to make an effort to read the plaque, but somebody! was offended. Can't have a person be offended!
The last part about Red Lion radio WGCB, that is a very christian broadcast center, in the middle of nowhere south of here. You come over a hill in the middle of farmland and suddenly there are these huge, not very well maintained, dish antennas. You have to see it to believe it how out of place these dishes are. Probably radio towers too but never noticed them.
