        This is nuts!  Don't mix units.  70F = 21C and 65F = 18C.  
Note your thermometers might not be very accurate.

        We have something similar.  But I attribute it to the fact
that I often close the windows at night.  Then the heat stored in the
walls can move to the air in the house.  I imagine that air 
temperatures are what are being measured, but radiative temperatures
would be about the same.
        But 85F?  That's pushing it.
