HA! Only 15? I did over 50 yesterday!
Actually, considering that notification of over 40 of those darn
messages (but not all with the attachment intact by the time the notice
got to my inbox) was sent out after I last checked e-mail last night, if
you only got 15, I bet Nick took care of a few, as well.
I swear, I spent more time dealing with the @#$% messages yesterday than
I did reading listmail, and that's saying a lot. So, if folks could
post a little more today, give me a little more balance on those
activities, I'd really appreciate it. :)
(But I haven't seen any instances of the thing being sent directly to
me, which is nice.)
Oh, and one other thing -- we've gotten error messages indicating that
some copies of the virus went out with "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" as the
"from", and I *know* that's not right. So if you're getting error
messages and wondering how the heck they got the virus from you -- they
probably didn't. If you're running a Windows machine with a targeted
operating system, get yourself virus protection software if you haven't
already. If you're running a Linux machine, go ahead and gloat and feel
superior. :)
