After Week 1, I am 11-4 with the Upset Special off to a 1-0 start as well.

Buffalo over JACKSONVILLE - This game has Upset Special written all over
it. The Bills are coming off a hugely emotional win over New England,
they have Miami to look forward to next week, and are travelling to the
early Fall Florida heat. Still, the Jags are without Jimmy Smith, and
Week 2 seems a little early for a let-down game, right???

Cleveland over BALTIMORE - Until proven otherwise, I'll keep betting
against the rookie QB. Moreover, the Browns are supposed to be a playoff
team this year, so they should bounce back from the heart-breaking 9-6 loss
last week.

Detroit over GREEN BAY - Could the Packers really lose three-in-a-row at
home? The Lions haven't won in Lambeau in 11 years, so they are due.
Plus, three of the Packers' top four WR's are hurt - and even Brett Favre
can't totally correct for that, can he? I like this youg Lions team under
Coach Mariucci, at they'll put the League on notice with a win here.

Houston over NEW ORLEANS - The last game would have been my Upset Special,
were it not for the Texans - who should have put everyone on notice that
they were for real last week, playing a New Orleans team that did not look
good in Week 1. UPSET SPECIAL

NEW YORK JETS over Miami - This game is something of a coin flip in my
mind, with the Fish being a slightly better team, but the Jets being at
home. But, Vinny Testaverde always beats the Fish... more importantly the
Jets have quietly put together perhaps the best defensive line in football,
and the Fish's offensive line is a glaring weak spot.

KANSAS CITY over Pittsburgh - If for no other reason than that the Chiefs
are at home, and I don't think that the Steeler have the LB's to shut down
Priest Holmes.

San Francisco over SEATTLE - I don't think that Kurt Warner is the source
of all the Rams' problems.... they still don't have a very good defense in
my mind, and still have a terrible coach in Mike Martz.

Tennessee over INDIANAPOLIS - I think the Colts only scoring 9 points last
week was a real warning sign - of what, I'm not sure. Stll, the Titans
swept the Colts last year, and at this point I see no reason why they
shouldn't do it again.

ATLANTA over Washington - Some home teams have to win, right? It seems
that everyone is forgetting that the Falcons are still a very good football
team, even without Michael Vick - and the Redskins are still a pretty bad one.

TAMPA BAY over Carolina - The defending champs should be just too strong at
home.

Seattle over ARIZONA - The Seahawks won't be surprised by Anquan Boldin
this week.

OAKLAND over Cincinnati - The Raiders will not go to 0-2, at home, against
the Bengals. It just won't happen.

SAN DIEGO over Denver - The Chargers remain inexorably Super Bowl bound -
unless of course they lose again this week, at which point I may have to
revisit things.

PHILADELPHIA over New England - If the Eagles take care of business at home
this time, the Patriots and Dolphins could both be 0-2, facing the Jets and
Bills at home next week.... Wouldn't that be exciting?

MINNESOTA over Chicago - How often in the previous week does the home team
look as good as Minnesota did and the road team look as bad as Chicago did?

NEW YORK GIANTS over Dallas - The G-Men are the better team, are at home,
at should win - Bill Parcells' return to New York notwithstanding.
