Dang list

Sorry about the list glitches lately.  There's something funky about the 
server and I can't put my finger on it.  I'm afraid it'll be Friday 
before I can really sink my teeth into, though.  I'm in San Francisco 
each day until then, as I was today, for the SunNetwork Conference. 
They have good connectivity there, both the show network and wireless, 
so I should be able to check often to see if things are running.

The culprit *seems* to be messages, or a message, that has odd encoding 
that is making Mailman get constipated, as Erik put it.  There's an 
"unshunt" command that seems to get things moving again, at least somewhat.

Good day for our company -- I met Sun's CEO, Scott McNealy, for the 
first time and got a good impression.  I guess it was at least somewhat 
reciprocal, since he quickly asked us for some advice (which *almost* 
surprised me enough to be speechless) and gave my business partner and 
me his business card with some encouraging words.
