That's why the spare is fully charged.

Speaking of which, I ought to check how well the one *in* the phone is
charged.

I put new batteries in the Palm Pilot earlier this week.

We're OK for the next 5 days, I think, and we'll be heading for the
hospital one way or another sometime in the next 7, so I *think* we'll
be OK.  No, what *could* happen, that would be bad, would be for there
to be a nasty accident on 620 just before we got to that spot.



Well, I certainly hope nothing will go awry. I mentioned those things not because I wish for anything to happen, but on the principle that the more you think of that can go wrong, the more you can prepare so it won't . . . so you can be sure that the Universe in its perversity will come up with a whole new list of things to go wrong that you never thought of . . .
