I've already posted most of my views on this in the introduction to 
the fan fic page. Define the glass; define the liquid.

But in this context, I think the size of the glass has been left out.

People are now complaining that their 44oz Thirst Buster / Super 
Big Gulps are half empty. (Sorry Alberto, that's the way they come
here.)

A mere hundred years ago people were complaining that their
8oz tin cups were half empty.

Of course progress has gone downhill. Now when I take a corner 
too quickly in my van, the supposedly safely wedged 44oz drink 
tips over and spills everywhere.

If it had only been an 8oz cup, it would have stayed wedged.

That's progress for the paper towel manufacturers, I guess.
