There were moments when I had my doubts. In fact, at one point, I was
about to think, "I don't think I can do this," and then I remembered
that a lot of people knew what would be happening that day, and that a
good number of them cared about me, and just remembering that that many
people cared about me and what I was going through helped me to get past
*that* moment.
Let's say I'm extremely grateful that I got something for pain when I
did, and that a last-minute emergency C-section was *not* necessary, and
leave it at that for details of labor & delivery.
But just to give an idea:
The next day, as I was watching a college football game, there was a
commercial for Toyota Tacoma. They asked, "Are you tough enough for
Tacoma?" at the end.
And I replied to the TV, "Yes, I'm tough enough for Tacoma. The
question is, is Tacoma tough enough for *me*?"
