Angel 5x01 was pretty good. They managed to work the big change of scenario neatly. The existing characters are getting some interesting new directions and the transplanted ones are fitting in nicely... Harmony seems to be (sort of) a replacement for (early) Cordelia. And Spike...

5x02 is even better! Although it is very Spike-centred. Then again, he is number 2 on the credits now. Spike does his witty foil thing for Angel and the rest of them, and points out stuff nobody else wants to see/say as he did latterly on Buffy. Works well so far...
