Rather late, I'd like to congratulate all the new parents: Chad, Julia, and Jean-Louis. From the little I've posted on anything, one might guess that I've been busy.
I have. While my wife's surgury went well, taking care of her at the hospital and at home was fairly taxing. Running up to help my Mom, who is having difficulty dealing with my Dad being in the nursing home, also took a lot of energy. In addition, knowing that my Dad is on the border of knowing/not knowing who I am and will probably be on the other side of the border in a couple of months doesn't make things easy. On top of that, since I'm self employed, time taken off for personal business must be made up. Since Teri's surgery was excluded from insurance coverage, I had a lot of motavation to keep the busness going full tilt.
