I was watching ESPN when he made the remark. Now, it didn't make any
sense to me at the time, but then again, I was still in the hospital
from having given birth; but it didn't make sense to Dan, either, so it
wasn't just me. :P
The most *reasonable* reason I could think of for McNabb to be overrated
was, hey, he was the quarterback who led a team to home-field advantage
throughout the playoffs and was eliminated from Superbowl contention at
the last game possible to eliminate them.
But this whole media crap was ridiculous. Heck, I thought that Limbaugh
knew more about NFL football than I did, and the statement struck me as
ridiculous, so either I'm a complete idiot when it comes to football, or
Limbaugh made a ridiculously stupid remark. Everything I've seen about
it since he made that remark has me believing that it's the latter.
