We could get four and two were PBS (run by the same statewide system, so the content was identical).

But after all, how many numbers are there between 2 and 13?

Anyone Here Old Enough To Remember When There Was Actually A Channel 1? Maru

We had 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 VHF channels and 25, 31, 41, and 47 UHF. I was my father's remote control, and 'rabbit ears' supplement (he swore reception was better when I touched the antenna). Until cable came along, I never watched any broadcast channel that didn't have ghosts, and lets not mention B&W tv.
