2- PLEASE someone reset my parameters to only receive messages that have "Brin:" in the subject line!!!!!!! That was a blessing that allowed me to rejoin.
3- Please DROP "Brin:" from the subject line if I haven't posted to a topic for a while. I am most appreciative of efforts to help one of your favorite authors stay attentive to writing!

I just received a box of copies of my huge new graphic novel, The Life Eaters - a 144 page hardcover published by DC/Wildstorm. Critics are already calling this work 'the biggest thing to happen in the graphic medium since Watchmen!'
It was a fascinating experience, writing the script, then supervising artists (like the great Scott Hampton) and producers, designers, letterers... very much like directing a mini-movie! Look for it in bookstores

Certainly he has the current band of despicable CheneyKleps running scared. There singleminded dedication to one - and only one - core goal .... finding excuses to shovel money from our grandchildren toward the gaping maws of 20,000 golf buddies ... will be under threat if an alternative type of conservative model -- ANY alternative style of conservatism -- appears on the horizon.
Where the hell is Barry Goldwater when we need him most. (One of BG's final political acts was to join "Move-on" the group that called the Clinton Impreachment circus a farce.)
Enough. I hope Ah-nold surprises us all, does a good job, and succeeds at breeding a generation of bullet-resistant Kennedies. (What a thought._
