Apparently the movie rights are in hands of Morgan Freeman's production company Revelations Entertainment, and his chosen director, David Fincher, plans to shoot/ render the entire film digitally, except for the acting. Since this technology is still in its infancy and it would be a "3 year undertaking", we'll have to wait till 2006. At least.
