Saw this tonight and I have to say that I am disappointed. It was just "ok". It didn't have the punch and impact of the first Matrix and some of the scenes were waaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too long. At the end of the movie, I was asking the question "is this all? You have got to be kidding". As Keanu said in an interview, they were satisfied that they told the story. The ending left me much less than satisfied.
The reaction of the audience ranged from "You've got to be kidding" to "awesome". The reaction seemed to be at either extreme, with very little in between. It was worth seeing to tie up some loose ends, but definitely not worth leaving work a few hours early for and standing in line at the theater.
