Cool. It would be nice if it weren't probably going to be cloudy here. And it's not as if I weren't likely to be awake for some of it *anyway*....
As the penumbral phase starts at 4:15 pm CST, the partial phase about 5:30, and totality lasts from 7:06 to 7:31, you might be awake for much of it, assuming the smaller members of the family have not worn you out.
