Did we lose all the listmail from the outage period?
Nothing should have been lost, just delayed. So don't go pretending that you wrote a Pulitzer Prize-winning posting... ;-)
Most MTAs (the software that moves mail) retry for a few hours before giving up, even if there is no backup receiver. However, we also have a backup receiver (in Toronto) that should accept mail when our connection is down, our server is busy, etc. Thus, just delays, no lost mail.
