When I tried to boot up the classroom computer so I could show some photos that were on CD-ROM, after first giving me some sort of message about a missing PCI card of some sort or other (not something I had any need for), then taking forever to finally warm up, it would not recognize that there was a CD-ROM drive at all. So I rebooted: no error message, more normal boot time, but still no CD-ROM drive. So I gave up and put it back in the office with a note on it, and described the pictures I wanted to show them . . .
