Back in the day (meaning, pre-Power PC chip), this was done with Mac Classics. They made a somewhat smaller fish bowl, but still stylish none-the-less :-)

They are made from Mac 128, Mac 512, Mac Plus, Mac SE & SE/30, Mac Classic or Classic II, iMac, Cubes...
