Carolina at Dallas - This game should be a matchup of two great defenses,
and I think Carolina should have a better time running the ball than
Dallas. The Panthers have had a lot of close escapes this year, so
knowing my luck, this will be the week that their luck runs out. Pick:
PANTHERS
Detroit at Minnesota - The Vikings should get off their four-game schneid
against Detroit at home. Pick: VIKINGS
Indianapolis at Buffalo - Eric Moulds is gimpy and will try to play, Travis
Henry has a broken leg and will try to play, and the coaches have already
been fired but will try to coach anyways. Despite everyone soldiering on,
the injuries give the Colts too big of an edge for the Bills to overcome.
The Bills' defense will keep this game a lot closer than people might
think, but I expect the Colts to control the ball in the 4th Quarter and
win it in the end. Pick: COLTS
Jacksonville at NY Jets - The Jets' defense gets three starters this week,
which should help correct the awful performance they had against the Colts
last week. Pick: JETS
New England at Houston - The Patriots continue to win games with smoke and
mirrors, and now they have even more injuries. I say that the Patriots
are overdue, and the Texans' passing-attack should upend the Patriots, even
with Tony Banks. Pick: TEXANS
New Orleans at Philadelphia - McNabb and Brooks are playing in the
"all-overrated" bowl. Pick: EAGLES
Pittsburgh at Cleveland - The dreams of a four-way season-ending 8-8 tie in
the AFC North will probably end this week as Cleveland again torches
Pittsburgh's pass defense. Pick: BROWNS
Seattle at Baltimore - I picked the Seahawks to go to the Super Bowl, but
they won't do it without playing better on the road. Anthony Wright and
the Ravens are a perfect opportunity for them to do just that. Pick:
SEAHAWKS
San Francisco at Green Bay - This is the game of the week in my mind as
both teams are 5-5 and neither can afford a loss. The Packers have
already lost a bundle at home this year, and I'm going to guess that Tim
Rattay creates a real QB Controversy in San Francisco by pulling the upset.
Pick: 49ERS
Chicago at Denver - Plummer is back and the Broncos are good again. Pick:
BRONCOS
St. Louis at Arizona - The Cardinals have beaten a lot of people at home
this year, but the Rams won't be one of them. Pick: RAMS
Cincinnati at San Diego - This game has let-down written all over it for
the Bengals, and even though I picked the Bengals to win the divsion, I
seen the Bengals disappointing me in this one. Pick: CHARGERS
Oakland at Kansas City - The Chiefs should torch the Raiders at home after
suffering their first loss. Pick: CHIEFS
Tennessee at Atlanta - The Falcons have changed starting QB's again, but at
this point, I don't think that even Michael Vick could win games for these
clowns. Pick: TITANS
Washington at Miami - The Redskins lost in heart-breaking fashion as
Stephen Davis got the pebbles on the leather of the football across the
goal line at the end of the game, and the Dolphins won in mind-numbing
fashion, 9-6 in OT. I think the Dolphins will find another way to win and
the Redskins will find another way to lose. Pick: DOLPHINS
NY Giants at Tampa Bay - Last week, the Browns released a received named KJ
and torched the Cardinals at home. This week, the Bucs released a
received named KJ and..... lose to the Giants. Pick: GIANTS
