Over the past few weeks, since adding a lot more spam defense and running analysis on our mail server logs, we're receiving anywhere from 60,000 to 100,000 messages a day... and rejecting about 90 percent of them. And that's just on the primary server. I haven't run stats on our secondary, but it is probably on the same order, except that it rejects more like 99 percent of them, since the only time legitimate mail servers connect to it is when our primary is down.
