This week, I like the Colts over the Patriots in Foxoboro. While Bill
Belichick, aka Evil Genius, aka Lex Luther has often had Peyton "Super"
Manning's number in the past.... Manning is simply playing at a whole
another level right now. This week, the luck of the Patriots - my pick
for luckiest team in the League over the last few year - will finally run
out, and Manning will go to his first Super Bowl.
In a game that is little more than desert after the classic top offense vs.
top defense matchup in New England, I like the Eagles over the Panthers in
a slugfest in Philadelphia. These two teams love to run the football ,
play solid defense, and win ugly - and with the weather turning ugly in the
Northeast, this game will not exactly be a track meet. The difference
should be Donovan McNabb who will make enough plays with his legs to pull
out the win.
