A hoon is top-heavy compared to a human, what with longer legs, two larger
spines and a longer neck with its heavier bone structure.

We Hoon swagger, sway, saunter and splay our legs. Bringing down our center
of gravity by almost half a meter. At normal stance, the widest part of a hoon
is the measurement taken from upper knee to upper knee.

To many Humans, we walk in what would be called a waddle.

So how does a very pregnant hoon walk?

Same waddle, but rarely alone.

In the last stages of a pregnancy, she usually walks with one arm on the
shoulder of another hoon that walks in front of her.

Now knowing a bit about the ancient literature of Earth's past, I understand
that this typical arrangement would totally gender bias the answer to the
Riddle of the Sphynx--already hoonishly muddled by the four or two, Jijo or
Civilization of the Four Galaxies discrepancy. Should the hoonish anwswer be: Two,
three Uplift Male, Two, three, two, three Uplift Female, or Four, two, three
Jijo Male, and Four, two, three, two, three Jijo Female?

But that's neither here nor there and would start to take this short little
diatribe off into unwanted directions.

I should return to the friend that walks in front.

By tradition, the walking helper should be one of the ladies of the chorus.
One of the midwives who will help sing the invitation for the child to come out
and greet the world.
