I'm not going to sit back and let JDG make extremely homophobic and misogynist remarks without calling him on it.
No one else here seems to be unable to defend their positions without bashing him. Do you think you're accomplishing anything?
By *your* definition they are "extremely homophobic and misogynist". By his they are not. Why can't you have a civilized dialogue with him rather than calling him names? You're attacking him and not his arguments, which is rude, nasty and needs to stop.

He's an apologist for homophobes and he and his arguments lend a veneer or legitimacy to the hate movement.
I fail to see the validity of this position, considering that **your** arguments frequently promote the paranoid conspiracy movement and bash authority, any authority, as long as it opposes what you have faith in. Your justification is extremely hypocritical.
How about this, the next time you feel unable to act civilized and conduct a reasonable discussion... the next time you want to attack someone personally... take it offlist.
All he does is feed the hate-mongering movement. I do not respect people who try to give respectability to the hate movement.
Then have some respect for the rest of us innocent bystanders and take your bashing offlist and out of our mailboxes.
