Actually, you did. It clearly states that WE AGREE.
Speaking as a list manager, I don't demand that people agree with the guidelines. They are there to tell people what to expect and what is expected of them when they join the list.
I avoid a certain measure of personal misery by reminding myself not to have expectations in the sense of being attached to a certain outcome. In this case, the reminder to myself means that if people don't agree with the guidelines, or fail to follow them (as is inevitable), I need not become self-righteousness.
In other words, if people want to be dorks here, I'll let 'em. At some point, if the list goes completely in that direction, I just won't go there with it.
I think I've shown that my strong preference is to let the community use every other means at its disposal before taking administrative action.
